Stained Glass

Description

This beautiful and vibrant centre piece conjures up images of traditional Christmas scenes; carol singers, mince pies, hot mulled wine and open fires.  It is a surprisingly easy make as there are virtually no seams to match!  The ‘leading’ effect is achieved using pre-made iron on bias tape and keeping the quilting to a minimum enhances the stained-glass effect.  In non-seasonal fabrics, without the leading effect, it also makes a simple and effective baby quilt (see picture on back cover).
