My name is Wendy and Sweetpatches is the business that I have always dreamed of running!

Patchwork has been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager, but was very much a time-limited interest whilst I was raising a family and working as a research-scientist and teacher.

Now my days are filled with fabric, fun, colour and endless possibilities.  My aim is to design decorative and practical fabric items that people will enjoy making and actually finish!  I try to be as economical as I can with fabric requirements in all my patterns and to produce patterns that you can trust to be clear and easy to follow.
