Description
This fun, festive table runner is a riot of Christmas colour and cheer and would brighten any family table and bring a smile to young and old alike. It is made from strips of seasonal fabrics that come together surprisingly quickly to create this forest of yuletide firs.
The pattern is given for a table runner that measures 48” x15” but it can be easily made shorter or longer by changing the number of trees that you include. The tree blocks could also be used individually to make coasters, place mats or even Christmas cards.
Fabric requirements are given for metres and 6 fat eigths, but it would also be a good project for using up seasonal scraps and having a greater variety of fabrics included.
